Leak Repair - STOP IT®

STOP IT® – PIPE REPAIR SYSTEM

The STOP IT® Pipe Repair System is an easy-to-use, fast-curing, field-applied pipe repair system. Ideal for repairing leaks, reinforcing joints, rebuilding pipe wall strength due to the corrosion process – in virtually any situation, including underwater.

In Brazil, this solution is officially distributed by Paschoalin, which is InduMar’s representative, and therefore offers the best prices.

The STOP IT® Pipe Repair System consists of a knitted, fiberglass tape coated with special urethane resins that are water-activated and FIX STIX™, a hand-molded epoxy for filling voids and pipe gaps. In addition, we also send gloves for application and instructions for use, which include a Selection Guide. The Guide helps to independently identify which and how many kits to use in the repair, according to the diameter and pressure of the pipe.

STOP IT® stands continuous temperature from -29°C to 121°C and sporadic exposures from 121°C to 260°C and stands pressure up to 400 PSI/ 28 bar. In addition, STOP IT® tape combined with FIX STIX™ epoxy is compatible with most chemicals and can be used with any type of plastic or metal piping.

Some advantages of STOP IT® are that it can be installed by one person without special tools or hot work, and it provides quick repairs in the field, returning lines to operation in less than 30 minutes. STOP IT ® can even be applied to active leaks, for leaks with pressure up to 50 PSI / 3.5 bar.
